Base Camp
The historic Glenmalure Valley is our base for the GRS Wicklow, home to the infamous Glenmalure Lodge and Bosca Beatha Sauna.
Routes
Owing to a stipulation of our permit, we are not permitted to publish the route map prior to the event. Riders will be emailed the GPX file on Friday 17th at 1pm.

• GRS Classic – 100km, 3000m

• GRS Tour – 65km, 2150m

• GRS lite – 40km, 1150m

Cut Off Times
In the interest of safety, we will apply the following cut offs whereby riders must leave the cut off point by the specified time.

• GRS Lite 40km – no cut off
• GRS Tour 60km – cut off at 39km: 13.30 (13kmph)
• GRS Classic 100km – 1st cut off at 55km: 14.00 (15kmph)
• GRS Classic 100km – 2nd cut off 75km: 15.30 (15kmph)
Mandatory Equipment
All riders must carry the following items at all time, checks will be carried out before you join the starting area.

Sauna
Relax pre or post event with a sauna and dip in the Avonbeg River, book here.
Route Marking and Tracking
Each route will be fully marked with sign posts and leader tape. There will be marshals at major junctions only. Riders will be issued with a GPS tracker at registration.
Bikes
You can enter on any type of bike, gravel, cyclocross, mtb and ebikes. Your bike should be in perfect working order and you should carry spare tubes, a pump and multitool. You can also rent a gravel bike from Biking.ie here.

All rides are GPS tracked so your loved ones can follow your progress.
The feed stations are absolutely loaded with treats, we’ve even got beer!
The route is fully way marked and well marshalled, with full medical cover.
There is a finisher’s medal and tee shirt for all participants.
Parking and Directions
Please respect our neighbours, drive slowly on approach roads to the venue and use official car parks only, please do not park along the road side or at the Glenmalure Lodge car park. Campers and large vans will be directed to a secondary car park 100m from the main car park.
